This is an unparalleled natural wilderness setting, similar to the wilds of the Rockies and Alaska’s mountain terrain, right here in the accessible New England region. Dogsled through uncut pristine northern boreal forests of Balsam Fir trees, a landscape of mountains and lakes with prolific wildlife of moose, deer, coyotes, black bear, hawks and much more. Only a 6 hour flight from Europe, and a mere 4 hour scenic drive from Boston, makes our authentic dogsledding program here both of exceptionally quality and accessibility. Our new Dog and Horse farmhouse sets on the edge of this wilderness area offering warmth and restrooms for the starting and finish points of these trips. Also available are the historic and luxurious Balsams Grand Hotel for accommodations, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and downhill skiing. at:
