All of us here at New England Dogsledding and the Telemark Inn believe in the genuine beauty of dogs and in the importance of developing a respecting and trustful relationship. Trust is built with our animals 365 days a year. The high level of care, the quality of foods they receive (Eukanuba and other goodies), a clean and healthy kennel environment, lots of hands on attention with petting, grooming, training, and conditioning.
Trust is the key to building a strong and enduring relationship with all of life, dogs know this for sure, and what they give back to us is truly amazing. You will see it in their eyes, feel it in their energy, and experience it when you go dogsledding with them. These guys and gals are a sleek, well mannered, well trained, squadron of highly athletic friendly canines.
We also feel the importance of building a retirement package into each and every dogs running career here (this is unusual in the dogsledding world), most of the dogs are born in love here and will eventual die of old age here.
High quality care, at times, requires expensive veterinarian services. This can add tremendous expenses to the overall yearly budget; we wouldn’t and couldn’t do it any other way. We hope our clients feel the same commitment to animal care and that they understand the economics that goes along with a more humane style of running dogs. The happiness and quality of our dogs lives here is of utmost importance to us. We believe it shows in every aspect of our dogsledding program. Thank you for your interest, support, and understanding.
