Policies
Cancelation Policy:
For all Vacation Packages and Activities scheduled a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 60 days prior to the start of your trips beginning date.
Because of our small size and remote location, last minute cancelations, for any reason, are very hard if not impossible for us to refill so: In the event of a cancellation, a full refund will be given, less a $50 service fee, ONLY if notification is given at least 60 days in advance of your trip OR if the vacancy can be filled. We strongly recommend that you purchase trip insurance if you are concerned with this policy. Thanks for understanding.
Check In-Out times: at our wilderness lodge is between the hours of 6pm and 9:30 pm. (due to the nature of our country business please no later arrivals). Dinners are not included in first nights package pricing but with advanced notice can be added on. Check out times for packages are 4 pm on the last days stay and for B&B stays check out times are by 11 am.
Dining at the lodge: is family style and casual –no dress clothing required.
Pets: Even though this is a very “animal friendly” place, due to the nature of our living and working farm (horses-llamas- dogs- and house cats) visiting animals have been very disruptive in the past and we recommend that you either board your pets at home or in the village of Bethel 10 miles away.
Allergies: If you are allergic to cats or dogs staying at the Bethel Inn or Sudbury Inn by night might be the best option for you and family, we can arrange your stay there.
Weather : New England weather is variable and sometimes fickle: so please come prepared with appropriate clothing for all weather conditions, including rain gear, warm clothing, appropriate footwear for hiking and horseback riding or dogsledding. Our activities take place in all weather conditions including rain / snow, so come prepared and plan your driving times accordingly.
Smoking is not allowed in buildings or around other clients and their families. (Thank you for understanding)
